Christina Rodriguez M.S., CCC- SLP Founder of Watch Me Grow

Hi everyone! My name is Christina and I am so excited you are here. My passion is working with little ones and helping them feel confident in their communication skills. I want to help families grow a long side their children using a family-centered approach. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and my first language was Spanish. I decided to become an SLP after witnessing the transformation of one of my family members with Autism and the impact therapy had on him and his family. He was unable to communicate with his mom, and I will never forget the joy his parents felt when he was finally given the help he needed to find his voice. The shift in their relationship was instant and continued to grow over the years. After this experience, I knew this is what I wanted to do in life. Watch Me Grow is driven by my passion to help children grow into their maximum potential while closely working with their families throughout the therapy process.

I received a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a certificate in Speech Sound Disorders and Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Florida International University. I am a board-certified speech-language pathologist, holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I am also PROMPT trained. I have experience working with children who have speech/language disorders, developmental delays, articulation/phonological disorders, hearing impairments, pragmatic language disorders, Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. My experience and continuing education allow me to incorporate evidence-based strategies in every therapy session.

During my free time, I enjoy being with my family, my Miniature Schnauzer Luna, gardening, and exploring the outdoors.
